An independent panel of experts will review valid entries and shortlist six DJs. Shortlisted entrants will be contacted during the week commencing 22 June 2026.

The six shortlisted DJs will be asked to submit an original DJ mix by 26 June 2026. From these submissions, three finalists will be selected and notified on or before the week commencing 29 June 2026.

The three finalists will go through a public vote on Spotify. The finalist with the highest number of votes by 3 August 2026 at 23:59 will be named the winner.

The winner will get the chance to play a DJ set at The Smirnoff Stage at Electric Picnic 2026.

Each finalist must attend a Spotify-affiliated studio in Dublin to record an audio advertisement promoting their entry and encouraging public votes.

Travel to the Dublin studio is at the finalist’s own expense. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.

Yes. Entries and DJ mixes must be original, created by the entrant, and not copied from any other work or material.

Entries may be disqualified if they include offensive or inappropriate content, images of identifiable people, copied material, or anything that may breach third-party intellectual property rights.
